Attorney's Biography
Richard Ward is a graduate of the Syracuse University College of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate degree. Richard Ward also served as Judicial Extern to the Honorable Judge Gerling for the Northern District of New York Bankruptcy Court.
Richard’s extensive legal background has primarily been concentrated in the field of consumer bankruptcy law, but he has also practiced in one of central New York’s larger commercial bankruptcy firms, as well as partnered in a general practice firm, where he handled cases in everything from consumer bankruptcy law, family law, real estate law, elder law, and estate planning; Richard is also an attorney for children (fka law guardians) for Onondaga County.
Richard Ward is a member of the Central New York Bankruptcy Bar Association, the New York Bar Association, and the Northern District of New York Federal Bar Association.
In addition to helping you throughout the bankruptcy process, Richard’s primary goal is to help each client escape the pressures of unmanageable debt, and to help each person understand the legal process and make the transition to a fresh financial start as seamless and as stress free as possible.
